Bear Arm & Leg Lifts

Get into your trusty Bear position.

Knees bent under your hips and shoulders over your wrists.

Your arms are strong and tailbone is lifted to the ceiling.

Now you can isolate the legs first, then isolate the arms. But this move is designed so that you move opposite arm and leg simultaneously.

  • The heel goes upwards, the knee stays bent at ninety degrees.

  • The arm goes forward fingers reaching, not base of the wrist leading.

  • Keep your neck even with the rest of your spine, aka your gaze should be down at the floor not upwards at the mirror.

Watch yourself the first time but then know where you are in space without having to watch. Move to the music!
