I will start with an apology. It is so hard to write posts on the weekend. I have so much going on. I can’t seem to satisfy everything I want to get done and then get back to you to write about it. SO going forward I will keep this to a weekday posting only, unless something strikes me and I just have to share it with you.
Breakfast @ 6am : Usual oatmeal and protein powder.
Morning Yoga – Normal routine with hip openers and two headstands.
Lunch @ 11:30am : Whole Foods stop in. brussel sprouts slaw, one hard boiled egg, a bit of an indian spinach slop and some butternut squash and onions. It was a delightful combination of flavors and satisfied me until dinner. I also ordered a dirty chai latte, however I brought up the beter tasting and only 7 gram of sugar chai mix. They did look at me like I was crazy, but then got over it. People don’t know what to make of a person who knows exactly what she wants, but why?
I sat in traffic for about a half hour as I crawled a three mile distance on 87. I wanted to straight up die. Traffic is just one of those things that takes me to my limit. I eventually made it to the restaurant I will soon be bartending at and was pleasantly surprised by the small staff we are starting with. It is a brand new restaurant and there is no way this is going to be a smooth operation. Opening never is. I can’t wait for the chaos though. As well as the new friends and faces I will be serving and working with. The menu looks great and tomorrow is the wine tasting. I will do my best to spit out what I can.
Dinner @5:30pm Thai Town – Green Papaya Salad & Drunken Noodle with mixed vegetables. Not the healthiest fare, but will go food shopping tomorrow.
